Dear Jelly

..But first, Progress on the butterfly mobile

42 butterflies and their trash

(Letter to Jelly)

Dear Jelly,

I would like to feel you move. This anterior placenta of mine is making it difficult for me to feel things, so when you're ready just tickle my tummy and let me know you're doing well. I've read that you can taste things now. Any preferences? Ok, sushi it is!

I have another favor.. We get to see you next Friday, a week from today. Would you be so kind to spread your legs and let the doctor tell mommy and daddy if your hospital bow will be pink or blue? I will treat you with ice cream if you help us out!

See that boy? That's Jake. If you are a girl, he will be one of your boyfriends (just don't tell your daddy). If you are a boy, he is going to be one of your best buds! Regardless, he knows you're in my tummy and he is excited to meet you.

Love,

Mommy

PS- did you enjoy that sour apple sucker as much as I did? I hope we get waffles in the morning.

Icky!

I took the little one to the doctor today, she has the tendency to toss her cookies, chicken, rice, juice, ect. at night time.

We were a new patient so I expected this to take a while, but not 2 and a half hours. This isn't the highlight of the visit though.

When we were finally called back into the room, the nurse turned on the light (so I thought we were the first ones to use the room after lunch) and said "Do you smell anything"? "Just lemon cleaner", I replied. She said "Good, someone just got sick and I tried to clean it all up. Just don't let her get on the floor."

Voice in my head "Breathe, don't get sick just breathe." I didn't get sick and she stayed out of the floor.

A Toast

She is going to marry him

In college I think our friends thought we were married, or at least that we had the tendencies of an old married couple.

She is the best and she deserves the best!

Cheers to you, Kylee!!

Peace of Mind

I realize I should exercise, pregnant or not. As I grow stiffer each day I actually have an urge to get busy and I thought yoga would be the perfect thing. Not to strenuous, serene, and an entertaining way to stretch.

So when I found out that a local yoga group was moving two doors down from my office I was thrilled! They offer so many classes. I finally found "the one" for me and I called to register. I left a message. She called me back and we talked. I told her I was pregnant and she explained that they are starting their first prenatal class. Great, sign me up. Oh, it's in the middle of the day? Errk, I cant do that because I work. Can we go back to my original class? Two weeks later she calls to tell me that the instructor prefers not to have a pregnant woman in the class. (Steam comes from ears) So for two weeks you've dangled meat in front of me and jerked it away? Rude.

Oh, but she did say I could come buy a video from her and do yoga at home. Sure thing. I have yoga at home on the Wii and the instructor doesn't answer my questions when I cant figure out how she bent her torso in the opposite direction.

So now we are going to visit local gyms. I hope the yoga classes there allow ladies with buns in the oven.
